На аукционной площадке доменных имен Sedo продан самый дорогой домен в зоне .org. Как сообщает Techcrunch, рекорд установил домен Poker.org, ушедший к организации PokerCompany.com за один миллион долларов.

Ранее, напоминает издание, рекорд в этой доменной зоне принадлежал Engineering.org. Этот домен был продан за 198 тысяч долларов. Вторым по стоимости доменом был Sexe.org, за который покупатель заплатил чуть более 151 тысячи долларов.

Отметим, что рекорды доменной зоны .org существенно уступают оным в зоне .com. На данный момент абсолютным рекордсменом вне зависимости от доменных зон является Fund.com, проданный почти за десять миллионов долларов. Среди других рекордсменов этой зоны: Diamonds.com (7,5), Toys.com (5,1 миллиона долларов), а также ряд доменов, выкупленных для нужд порноиндустрии.
